Following-up on their success with the Angel Armor, this small armour manufacturing company M&J decided to create a new and more afforable suite of armor.
In order to keep the costs down M&J decided to use the same impact absorbing plates originally used in the Angel Armor, and improve them by adding a hollow structure filled with a patented binary fluid gel.
The new plates are lighter and more effective at absorbing impacts, but the costs of development forced M&J to refrain from using more of the Angel Armor technology. Only a basic hardened iron surface was added to the plates to prevent penetration into the binary gel compartments.
M&J hopes that the new technology used in the Chelydra Armor will prove to the world that M&J are capable of developing armor on their own, and have no need to steal designs from other manufacturers.
