A land going echinoderm, evolved from small spiny creatures during late Calypsoan Cambrium, now a tall, slimy trunk that moves on ten spindly legs. Remaining basically the same through more than four hundred million years, this is actually one of the oldest species on the planet. It spouts four barbed tentacles to inject a powerful toxin into its prey, then mounts the carcass to feed through its ventral mouth.
Itumatrox - The "ituma" part means "to go, advance, proceed, travel, move along, progress" in Latin. The "atrox" part is "bad, terrible, cruel, horrible, mean". It's something that moves around and it's cruel/bad.
